This event was jointly organised by Sungai Siput Youth Council [Majlis Daerah Sungai Siput] and Sungai Siput District Youth and Sports Department. I am honoured to be given the opporunity as organising chairman. I was the Vice Chairman of Sungai Siput Youth Council at that time.

The ex-Sungai Siput Member of Parliament who is also the Works Ministry, Dato' Seri S. Samy Vellu had built a tar road leading to this village. There are about 30 families in this village.

80 youth from Sungai Siput and 35 'orang asli' youth participated which was initiated by me. The objective of this camp was to coordinate interaction, understanding and integration among the youth from various races as part of the district level National Youth Day celebration.

The participants has successfully completed the gravity feed project for the village. The purpose of this project is to channelled water from the stream about 2 kilometres deep in the jungle to the village. This project stand still to date.
