WHEEL CHAIR TO 'Orang Asal' JALONG TINGGI

12 wheel chairs and 4 walking sticks were distributed to the needy 'Orang Asal' in Jalong Tinggi, Sungai Siput with the cooperation of the Rotary Club of Ipoh Metro and 'Batin' from the respective settlements.

 

 

 

 

2nd. MUHIBBAH BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN 2017

The 2nd. 'MUHIBBAH' Blood Donation Campaign was held on 23rd. April 2017 in Pusat Komuniti Muhibbah, Kg. Muhibbah Fasa 2B, Sungai Siput (U), Perak. The jointly organized campaign between KRT Taman-Taman Muhibbah and Komuniti Muhibbah with the cooperation from Hospital Raja Perempuan Bainun's Pathology Department attracted 80 donors. 

The next campaign shall be held on 27 August 2017 in conjunction with the 60th. National Day.

ROAD IN 'ORANG ASAL' SETTLEMENT

The road from Kampung Kenang to Kampung Lawai (about 30 KM) passing the hilly Korbu Forest Reserve. There is 7 kampung along this road. This road is not maintained since 2008. Many parts of the road are badly damaged due to erosion. The damaged road post dangerous to all users as the road in narrow. The kampung folks has requested widening of the road but disapprove by Forestry Department.

The damaged road has been brought to the attention of Dato' Tan Lian Hoe [DUN Jalong coordinator] and Datuk C. Sivaraajh [MIC National Youth Chief]. The effort to bring the matter to the attention of JAKOA Perak State Director soon.

The 2017 'MUHIBBAH' Blood Donation campaign kick off on 8 January, 2017 at 10 a.m. Live up with its name 'Muhibbah', this is a multi-racial donors campaign. Total donor 67, 7 rejected due to respective reasons.
