TREATED WATER FOR 'ORANG ASAL' JALONG TINGGI

Jabatan Kemajuan Orang Asli [JAKOA] has installed new water treatment equipment to process treated water for the 'orang asal' in Jalong Tinggi. One of it is in Kampung Pisang. However, I was told that the water from this equipment contain too much chlorine.

Water supply to all indigenous villages by gravity feed from the nearby river filtered by a filter installed by the Kuala Kangsar District Health Department a few years ago. In 2011, JAKOA has built water tank for the villagers to stock water.
