This is a project to assists school going orphans and poor family. 20 children irrespective of race, religion and colour were identified. They are from 3 Malay families, 2 Indian families and 2 Chinese families.

"MUHIBBAH' Blood Donation Campaign

The "MUHIBBAH' Blood Donation Campaign was held on 7 March, 2010 [Sunday] in Pusat Komuniti Muhibbah. This campaign was jointly organised by KRT Taman-Taman Muhibbah, Sungai Siput and Persatuan Kebajikan dan Komuniti Muhibbah, Sungai Siput. The campaign started at about 10:00 a.m. with the assistance from Hospital Raja Pemaisuri Bainun's Blood Bank.

This campaign attracted 60 generous donors but only 49 acceptable. The rejects were due to either high or low blood pressure.

It was a truly "MUHIBBAH" campign as the donors were from all races. From my observations, the young Chinese donors were lesser compare to the previous campaign. Most of the donors are regular donors. Some requested to hold the campaign more often.

The next campaign schedule on 1 August, 2010. Hope to receive your tremendous supports!
